Welcome to the official web-site of the campaign to save Loop Bridge Mill.

The mill is under threat of demolition. The owners have lodged planning applications to demolish the mill buildings and redevelop the site as a supermarket. The planning applications are currently under consideration by Planning Service and the Planning Appeals Commission. The campaign to save Loop Bridge Mill has been established following a series of events and exhibions by Creative Exchange, a collective of artists who currently use the top floor of the Mill as studio accommodation.

This web-site provides information on the history of the mill, images of the mill and of the 'MILL' exhibition by Creative Exchange, and an on-line objection page.

If you agree that the Loop Bridge Mill is an important asset to east Belfast and should not be demolished please add your name to the on-line objection . The objections will be presented to Planning Service in connection with the current planning applications
